mo – (pronoun) you

‘yan or iyan – (pronoun) that, this or it


Say it correctly:

Kaya – ka-yah (with intonation on the first syllable)

The sentence “Kaya mo ‘yan.”  have simple words with few syllables. Remember that in Tagalog language, we always pronounce vowels in their short form.  For example, short a sound, like in cat, bat, hat…not long a sound in  Kate, rate and date.
