Alabang / Parañaque
In 1981, on the outer area of Metro Manila, a suburb neighborhood was created and it is called Ayala Alabang. Ayala Alabang is located at Muntilupa City. The City of Muntinlupa is located at the south-most part of the National Capital Region. Taguig City is located on its north, Parañaque City is located to its northwest and Las Piñas on its west.
Muntinlupa City is considered a highly-urbanised city in Metro Manila, thus given the nickname “Emerald City of the Philippines”. This is due to the fact that this city is the location of some of the best commercial establishments in Metro Manila. It is also the location of the exclusive Ayala Alabang Village, one of the country’s largest residential communities. Ayala Alabang is the home of many rich and famous people in the country.
One of the neighboring cities of Muntinlupa City is Parañaque City. This is the home of Villamore Air Base and the location of Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Parañaque is very close to the sea, thus this city is one of the major centres for trade and business in the country.
Parañaque City is also considered a highly-urbanised city with residents who are mostly urban professionals and people connected with Philippine Air Force or aviation. This city is also the location of many multinational corporations like pharmaceutical companies, international automobile outlets, BPO companies, and factories. Parañaque City also has around 25 schools (universities, colleges, high schools, etc.). Las Piñas city is classified as a sister city of Parañaque.
