Saint Patrick’s Day or Feast of Saint Patrick is both a cultural and religious celebration among the Irish people as he is the patron saint of Ireland. The feast day every March the 17th is also observed by other Christian religions around the world like the Catholic Church, the Lutheran Church, Anglican Church and Eastern Orthodox Church.

Saint Patrick is recognised for his achievement of converting the pagan Irish into Christians. The use of green ribbons and shamrocks have been associated with the feast day because according to legend, Saint Patrick used the three-leaved shamrock to explain the mystery of the Holy Trinity to the Irish pagans.

More than a religious event, Saint Patrick’s day is a cultural celebration where alcohol consumption is part of the tradition.

Come and join this year’s dinner and dance celebration with the Irish community in Manila at Bonifacio Global City! See poster above for details.

The party features the Irish band The Spirits with Colm Lane and Mason Ring.
