In Tagalog – “Anong oras tayo aalis?”

Translation: “What time do we leave?” or “At what time is our departure?”

 

If you are speaking with an older person, we politely say, “Anong oras po tayo aalis?”

 

This useful phrase is often used when communicating with our travelling companions, people who book our appointments, our driver, etc.

 

Tagalog Word Guide:

Ano – “What?”

oras – “time”

tayo – Tagalog pronoun for “we” or “us”

aalis – Tagalog verb in future tense, means “leave”
