The best way to accomplish something is to begin. “Magsimula na tayo.”

Word guide:

Magsimula – (verb) to start or to begin (from the root word “simula”,  noun ~ the start)

na – (adverb) puts emphasis to the verb’s meaning, right away

tayo – (pronoun) us, we

Say it correctly:

magsimula – (mag-see-muh-lah) with intonation on the third syllable

tayo – (tah-yoh) with intonation on the first syllable

Reminder: In Tagalog/Filipino language, vowels are always pronounced in their short form. For example, short “a” like in bat, cat, mat. Not long “a” like in Kate, rate, hate.
